But being healthy is more than just exercising, eating right and drinking water. Whether you are young, old or somewhere in between, prevention and early detection can significantly reduce your risk of illness, disability or an early death. As baseball legend Mickey Mantle once said, "If I knew I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself." Many of us probably feel the same about our current health status.

Sharon BelvinSharon Belvin was only 22 years old when she learned she had late-stage metastatic melanoma, the most aggressive form of skin cancer. Despite undergoing a series of treatments that left her body ravaged and her spirit exhausted, her cancer kept coming back, each time worse than before.
